Short texts, SOS and locations can use a direct LoRa link between two compatible pods, or nearby Bluetooth relays when participating phones form a route. Phase 1 has no FindTribe repeaters. Those come in phase 2.

Can my family use FindTribe like Life360?

Yes. Family tribes use the same private map for arrival alerts, school days, airport pickups, vacations and road trips. Events are where the offline layer shows most, not the only place the app belongs.
